The original Church was organized in 1953, meeting in the four-room home shown below, with 29 members, which is currently the Threads of Hope Linen Pantry.

The ground was broken in June 1954 for the present Church, which was dedicated on June 12, 1955 (shown below).

“Rich in Spirit…Bold in Vision” Capitol Campaign
Through our 70 years, we have developed several outreach ministries, including the Threads of Hope Linen pantry, Just a Helping Hand Blessing Box (food), Refugee resettlement, Collins Christian Ministry (prison ministry), and the homeless population in downtown Buffalo through St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral.
To continue our ministries, we must repair and update our beloved St. Peter’s church and grounds.
Repairs needed: roof and boiler replacement, and organ restoration.
Updates: A new outdoor LED sign will be placed on the corner of Longmeadow and Callodine to facilitate communication with neighbors and the community.
